Ram Charan’s latest blockbuster Peddi continues its impressive run at the box office, maintaining strong momentum on its second day despite being a regular working day.
After opening to a sensational ₹135 crore gross worldwide on Day 1, the sports action drama added another ₹46 crore gross on Day 2, taking its two-day worldwide total to an outstanding ₹181.8 crore gross, according to the makers.
The film is performing exceptionally well across the Telugu states, which remain the primary driving force behind its massive collections. Trade circles note that the second-day hold is particularly encouraging, reflecting strong audience acceptance and positive word-of-mouth.
Adding to the excitement, advance bookings and occupancy rates have shown significant growth for the weekend. With Saturday and Sunday expected to witness a major surge in footfalls, Peddi appears set for another round of record-breaking numbers.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the lead role, alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The film’s blend of sports, action, and emotional drama has struck a chord with audiences, helping it emerge as one of the biggest box-office successes of the year.
