The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited action entertainer, tentatively titled NBK111, have unveiled the first-look poster of Kajal Aggarwal on the occasion of her birthday.

In the poster, Kajal is seen in an elegant yet commanding avatar, sporting a checked saree and spectacles. Set against the backdrop of a government office, her look hints at a powerful and influential character that is expected to play a crucial role in the narrative.

The first-look reveal comes after the tremendous response to the recently released “Entry Of An Era” glimpse, which introduced Balakrishna’s intense character set in the backdrop of 1993 Bombay. Kajal’s striking appearance has now added to the excitement surrounding the film.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK111 is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. The high-octane action drama is currently being shot in Mumbai, with Manoj Manchu playing a key role.

Maa Inti Baangaram Review: Samantha Shines in a Fun Action Entertainer with a Mixed Second Half

Samantha Ruth Prabhu returns with style in Maa Inti Baangaram, delivering an entertaining first half packed with humour and action, but a routine second half prevents the film from becoming a complete winner.

Storyline:

Anirudh (Dignath Manchale) marries Swarna (Samantha) against his family’s wishes and visits his native village after three years for his sister’s wedding. During the journey, a stranger mistakes Swarna for Jhansi, leading to several questions. Who is Jhansi? Is she the same person as Swarna? Why is an ex-Naxalite leader Karuna (Gulshan Devaiah) connected to her? The film unfolds as an action-comedy thriller revolving around these mysteries.

Positives:

Engaging and entertaining first half.
Clean, situational humour that works effectively.
Samantha delivers a superb performance and impresses in action sequences.
Santhosh Narayanan’s refreshing background score enhances the proceedings.
Slickly choreographed action episodes.
Authentic usage of the Rayalaseema dialect.
Good performances from Gulshan Devaiah, Sreemukhi and supporting cast.

Negatives:

Routine and predictable second half.

Dharmendra Kakarala’s editing is effective in the first half but could have been sharper in the latter portions. Director B.V. Nandini Reddy deserves praise for creating clean humour and maintaining intrigue initially, though the writing loses steam in the second half.
