Telugu OTT audiences have a new crime thriller to look forward to. Panchanama, featuring Bharath Niwas, Udaya Bhanu and Medha Reddy in key roles, is all set for its digital premiere. The makers have officially announced the streaming date, promising an intense investigative story packed with mystery, suspense and unexpected twists.
Panchanama To Premiere Directly On OTT
Unlike films that first arrive in theatres, Panchanama is taking the direct-to-OTT route. The series will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 Telugu on September 11, 2026.
The makers have unveiled the release date with the intriguing line, “The investigation begins on September 11.” The announcement has already created curiosity among viewers who enjoy crime mysteries and investigative thrillers.
Mohan Srivatsa At The Helm
Panchanama is directed by Mohan Srivatsa, who previously helmed Tribanaadhari Barbarik. The director takes audiences into a dark investigative world where a seemingly mysterious case gradually opens up a much larger criminal conspiracy.
Nagendra Pilla has penned the screenplay and dialogues, while Naresh Kumaran has composed the music. Sandeep Kanth N handled the cinematography and Srinivas Bainaboyina is the editor.
Udaya Bhanu Turns Producer
Adding another interesting dimension to the project, popular anchor and actress Udaya Bhanu has also stepped into the role of producer. The series is produced by Midde Vijayendra Mouli and Udaya Bhanu under Udaya Bhanu Productions.
Speaking about the project, Udaya Bhanu described Panchanama as a combination of an investigative thriller and a deeply personal emotional journey. She highlighted how Jai’s search for the truth gradually leads him into a much larger world of crime and corruption.

The story revolves around Jai Ram, played by Bharath Niwas, a police officer investigating a series of disturbing deaths. As the investigation progresses, shocking evidence and unexpected connections begin to emerge.
The case also carries a personal emotional weight for Jai, pushing him to uncover the truth behind the death of someone close to him. What starts as a search for answers reportedly turns into a dangerous investigation involving a much bigger criminal network.
Bharath Niwas Leads The Cast
Bharath Niwas plays the central character Jai Ram, while Medha Reddy appears as Dharani. The series also features Shivaji Raja, Charan Babu, Rupa Lakshmi, Radhika Priti, Surya and Srija in important roles.
