The 69th National Film Awards were honored at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on Tuesday. The actors from the south of India made a strong presence. R. Madhavan, S S Rajamouli, and Devi Sri Prasad are the few others present along with Allu Arjun at the awards ceremony.
The award was announced on Aug 24, 2023 and the presentation ceremony was declared on Oct 17, 2023.
Allu Arjun has received the National Award for Best Actor category from the hands of Indian President ‘Droupadi Murmu’ and expressed his feeling that he was very happy and lucky to be honored with such an award for a commercial film and spoke a dialogue from the film Puspa ‘Taggedele’ in Telugu language along with the character mannerism.
Allu Arjun becomes the first ever Telugu actor to receive the Prestigious National Award.
