Despite starring in several commercial action entertainers in recent years, the actor has struggled to score a major hit. Now, it appears he is taking a different route with his upcoming film, Singa.
On the occasion of Gopichand’s birthday, the makers officially unveiled the title glimpse of his 34th project, confirming Singa as the film’s title. The glimpse showcases the actor in a rugged and intense new look, featuring a thick beard, heavy moustache, and a fierce screen presence. His striking appearance and piercing eyes have already caught the attention of fans.
One of the biggest highlights of the project is that it marks the directorial debut of renowned stunt choreographer V. Venkat. Having earned a strong reputation as an action master in the industry, Venkat is now stepping behind the camera for the first time. The film is said to be set against a raw and rustic periodic backdrop, promising a gritty action experience. Given Venkat’s expertise, audiences can expect stylized and hard-hitting action sequences designed specifically to suit Gopichand’s mass image.
Adding to the excitement is the background score by music composer Shyam CS, whose powerful soundtrack elevates the intensity of the title glimpse. The music complements the film’s rugged tone and leaves a strong impact.
