Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has officially stepped into the dubbing phase of his much-awaited film Irumudi, taking the movie one step closer to its grand theatrical release on August 21. The makers unveiled a heartwarming behind-the-scenes video featuring Ravi Teja, director Shiva Nirvana, and child actress Baby Nakshatra, instantly creating excitement among fans.
The video opens with Baby Nakshatra beginning her dubbing session by chanting “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa,” setting a deeply spiritual tone. Ravi Teja then joins her, delivering his very first dialogue from the film: “I have only one daughter, and she is my life.” The emotional moment hints at the strong father-daughter bond that forms the emotional core of Irumudi.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi is being mounted on a lavish scale as a visual spectacle while staying true to director Shiva Nirvana’s heartfelt vision. Although only three days of shooting remain, the team has already begun extensive post-production work to ensure the film is ready for release.
Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar is handling the music. The first single, “Padi Pooja,” inspired by the devotion to Lord Ayyappa, has already emerged as a chartbuster. GV Prakash has also begun the background score, with the makers promising an emotionally rich musical experience.
Positioned as an intense blend of spirituality, family emotions, and drama, Irumudi carries high expectations among audiences. The makers are also expected to unveil the film’s second single soon, further building momentum ahead of its August 21 release.
