After earning a decent response during its theatrical run, Idhayam Murali is all set to entertain audiences on OTT. Starring Atharvaa Murali and Preity Mukhundhan in the lead roles, the coming-of-age romantic drama has officially locked its digital premiere date.
Netflix Confirms Idhayam Murali OTT Release
Netflix has officially announced that Idhayam Murali will begin streaming from August 7. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu (as Hrudayam Murali), Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, allowing viewers across India to experience the romantic entertainer in their preferred language.
The multilingual release is expected to significantly expand the film’s reach, especially among audiences who missed watching it in theatres.
Special Cameos Add to the Buzz
Directed by Aakash Baskaran, the film received appreciation for its youthful storytelling and emotional narrative during its theatrical release. One of the major highlights is Fahadh Faasil’s special cameo, while Malavika Mohanan appears in a pivotal special role.
Adding another surprise, music composer Thaman S also makes a cameo appearance in the film alongside delivering its soundtrack.
