Allu Arjun is continuing to strengthen his presence in the multiplex business with the expansion of his AAA Cinemas brand. After successfully launching AAA Cinemas in Hyderabad’s Ameerpet and introducing the premium Allu Cinemas at Kokapet, the Icon Star is now bringing the popular multiplex chain to Visakhapatnam.
The grand inauguration of AAA Cinemas Vizag is scheduled for August 9, with Allu Arjun personally attending the launch as the chief guest. The multiplex will officially open its doors to moviegoers from August 10, when regular screenings are set to begin.
However, fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the star at the event may be disappointed. The inauguration has been planned as a strictly invite-only ceremony, with entry limited to invited guests and media representatives. No public access or fan gatherings will be permitted during the launch.
The decision comes in light of the tragic Sandhya Theatre stampede incident that occurred two years ago. To ensure the safety of everyone involved, Allu Arjun’s team has opted for a controlled event with enhanced security measures.
Meanwhile, the Vizag Police are reportedly making extensive security arrangements to ensure the inauguration proceeds smoothly without any untoward incidents.
On the professional front, Allu Arjun is currently occupied with the shooting of his highly anticipated film Raaka, directed by Atlee. The project is presently being filmed in Mumbai and is one of the most awaited pan-Indian releases in the coming years.
