Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday today, marking his first birthday since assuming office as the state’s Chief Minister.

NBK112 Launch Date Confirmed: Balakrishna and Koratala Siva’s First Film to Begin on June 25

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently occupied with the shooting of his upcoming mass entertainer, tentatively titled NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni. Even as that project progresses smoothly, preparations have begun for his next film, NBK112, which marks his first collaboration with star director Koratala Siva.

The makers have finalized June 25 as the official launch date. The film will be inaugurated with a grand pooja ceremony at the TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkatapalem, near Andhra Pradesh’s capital region.

Adding significance to the event, Andhra Pradesh ministers Nara Lokesh and Kandula Durgesh are expected to attend as chief guests. The prestigious project will be jointly produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the banners of SLV Cinemas and Yuvasudha Arts.

Regular shooting is likely to commence soon after the launch. Leading composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score the music for the much-awaited film.

For Koratala Siva, NBK112 will be the seventh directorial venture of his career after delivering films like Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, Bharat Ane Nenu, Acharya, and Devara. The combination of Balakrishna and Koratala Siva has already generated huge excitement among fans and trade circles alike.
