Mama Mashchindra is a unique action thriller directed by Nitro star Sudheer Babu and actor-filmmaker Harshavardhan. Produced by producers Sunil Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, the film has created positive buzz with its teaser trailer. Srishti Celluloid Sonali Narang and Srishti are presenting this bilingual film made in Telugu and Hindi languages. Hero Sudhir Babu shared the features of the film in a press conference in the background of the release of the film on October 6.

The main reason for making ‘Mama Mashchindra’?
So far in my career, the stories that have come to me are the ones that I have chosen. There was never an attempt to make a certain story, to make such a story. But for the first time, I told Harsha to come and work with him with faith. I really liked the story he told. A very different script. He proved himself as a good writer with the films Manam and Gundejare Gallanthaiyinde. He has a good grasp of movies. How new it felt when we saw ‘Manam’.. Mama Mashchindra also gives us such a new feeling.

How did it feel to do a triple roll?
This is what excites me about it. I have been doing different roles in films like Krishnamma Makhidu, Bhaagi, Bhale Manchi Doosha. The audience accepted that I can do such roles. I considered a triple role in Mama Mashindra as an opportunity. It has three different accents for three characters. One character is from Telangana, another from Uttarandra, another character has Rayalaseema accent. These three accents are not mine. There is another dubbing for the old character. That is my regular language. Each character has a variation. I gained weight for a role. We used prosthetics for another character. I followed a diet routine for the role of looking young. This film is a challenge mentally as well as physically. The audience has faith that I will try something new. Mama Mashindra will surely give a new experience to the audience. This is a commercial film with content. The whole family can watch it comfortably. There are many twists and turns.

How did it feel to use a prosthetic for the first time?
It’s a different experience. Actually I wanted to increase the weight for a role. But Mahesh Babu and all his close friends said that it is not good to gain so much weight suddenly. This led to the use of prosthetics. The prosthetic material used for a young person is very stiff. With this, there is some challenge in showing facial expressions. We have done a very good job in this. The audience does not get a prosthetic feeling anywhere. It happened very naturally. I also put a small test in this regard. I called our apartment and said ‘so-and-so is coming, don’t let him in’. They didn’t let me in before I went into the prosthetic get-up. There was a fight for almost an hour (laughing) and I couldn’t remember it live. Even while watching the movie, the audience has this feeling.

The director said that they wanted to do a scene with Krishna in this.. About that?
yes We thought about it when we were in the script stage. But Krishna already stopped making films. But I am confident that I can somehow convince him. Very good scene. We wanted to shoot Naina on green mat. But he left. Without him, that scene has no importance. That’s why that scene was not shot. We miss him a lot. No one can fill the gap without him. His blessings are always on me.

Mama Mashindra to say in a single line?
Mama Mashchindra is a multi-layered story. The central layer is the role of Parasuram. An incident happens in the life of Parasuram. He also goes to jail in that incident. How will his journey be after coming out? What effect does his character have on other characters? Who changed his life? The story is interesting in many ways.

Which of these three characters attracts the attention of the audience?
There is a lot of freshness in the character of Durga. Parasuram’s role is very crucial in the story. You will be connected with that character throughout the film. Also, it was a challenge to show variation in the role of DJ. Comedy is also very new in this. Situational comedy worked out well.

How was working with Harsha?
I have a lot of faith in Harsha. He is a good writer and actor. It felt like working with an experienced director.

About heroines?
Esha Rebba Telugu. It is very comfortable to work with Telugu people. She is a beautiful actress. Mrinalini also learned Telugu and acted well. I am sure that they will get good opportunities after this movie.

About the producers?
Sunil Narang and Pushkur Ram Mohan are experienced producers. Full justice has been done to this movie. A very good technical team was given. DVP PG Vinda, Editor Marthand K Venkatesh, Music Chetan… all gave their best work. We are making the release grand.

If you get a chance to act in Krishnagari’s biopic, would you do it?
I will definitely do it if I get a chance.

About Gopichand biopic?
A Gopichand biopic is definitely there. The script is currently being worked on.

Next projects?
My father’s superhero is in the dubbing stage. Also the biggest project in my career ‘Harom Hara’ will also happen.

Taking the beautiful couple like Srikanth Gurram and Priyanka Sharma and introducing the director Mutyala Mehr Deepak as the director, the film Tantiram produced by Srikanth Kandrugula under the Cinema Bandi banner was held on the occasion of the worldwide release on October 13.

Music director Ajay Arasada said in this program. The film was made by director Mehr as he thought.. We have taken great care in re-recording. Moreover, every little piece of music is also integrated into the story. Producer Srikanth did not compromise anywhere and brought us a better output than what he had. This film will thrill everyone on October 13. He said

There are many thrilling elements in Tanthiram movie. Priyanka Sharma and hero Srikanth will be taken to the film. The two of them became a good couple. Said.

Hero Srikanth said.. We have seen how hard our producer and director worked to make this film.. Now they are working even harder to release this film. First we thought Machitra on September 22, then on October 6.. but now we are definitely coming on October 13. He said that Tanthiram will give theater experience to everyone who is a very good movie.

Young actor Anand Devarakonda, who made his presence felt in Tollywood with films like ‘Dorasani’, ‘Middle Class Melodies’ and ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ scored his careers biggest blockbuster with Baby. He is now coming with an action entertainer titled Gam Gam Ganesha. The recently released intriguing first look and teaser garnered everyone attention.

Continuing the momentum, today makers unveiled the film’s first single titled Brundavanive. Star heroine and National Crush Rashmika Mandanna has released Brindavanive lyrical song. Rashmika also released the Premayana song from Anand’s last super hit film “Baby”. Rashmika wished the best for the movie and she wished that Brindavanive song should be a big hit than previous song. Hero Anand Deverakonda thanked Rashmika for releasing the song.

Coming to the beautiful melody, the title itself gives a serene feel and this melodious magical sung by top singer Sid Sriram, who enchants everyone with his mellifluous voice. Anand Deverakonda and Pragati Srivastava chemistry looks adorable and thier amazing moves for the beautiful lyrics are really magical. With cute love scenes and visuals of song recording in the lyrical video the song enchants everyone.

This melody will undoubtedly dominate everyone’s playlist. Gam Gam Ganesha is written and directed by Uday Bommisetty. The film is produced by Kedar Selagamashetty and Vamsi Karumanchi under the banner HyLife Entertainment.

Chaitan Bharadwaj has composed the music for Gam Gam Ganesha. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor of the film. The film co produced by Anurag Paravatheneni will be releasing soon in theatres.

It’s been a long time since we saw a pure love story set in a beautiful rural setting. The forthcoming venture ‘Yendira Ee Panchayithi’ starring Bharat and Vishika Laxman in the lead roles will show a pleasant vintage village love story. Produced by Pradeep Kumar. M under the banner of Prabhat Creations, Gangadhara. T is making his debut as a director with this movie.

The film’s glimpse, teaser, and songs received a positive response. The recently released trailer which was unveiled by hero Srikanth has set good expectations for the movie and it hinted that ‘Yendira Ee Panchayithi’ will have crime elements too along with Father-daughter emotions & love story. 

Meanwhile, ‘Yendira Ee Panchayithi’ completed its censor formalities, and the movie was awarded with U/A certificate. The film now has no hurdles for its release in a couple of days on October 6th. The film is going to appeal to all sections of the audience. It is a clean entertainer that can be watched with family members.

Satish Masam is the cinematographer, while PR (Peddapalli Rohit) scored the music. JP is the editor for this movie, while Venkat Palwai and Priyanka Erukala penned the dialogues. Starring actors Kiran Abbavaram Neha Sshetty in the lead roles, the much-awaited movie Rules Ranjann is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on October 6. Ahead of the film’s release, protagonist Kiran Abbavaram spoke to  journalists on Wednesday. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

What kind of a rulebook does Rules Ranjann follow?

Don’t go by the title Rules Ranjann, there is nothing specific as far as rules are concerned, the film is a wholesome comedy. I’ve been saying this ever since we kickstarted the promotional activity. Audiences should only expect unlimited comedy. Like the way you people felt watching the trailer, I can say audiences keep laughing at the situational comedy for the entire runtime of two hours and thirty minutes.

Rules Ranjann is directed by Rathinam Krishna, the son of prominent producer-director A.M Rathnam, produced by Murali Krishna Vemuri and Divyang Lavania under the banner Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd. It also features Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Viva Harsha, Hyper Aadhi, Meher Chahal, Ajay, Makarand Deshpande, Atul Parchure, Annu Kapoor and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles.

Q) Comedy films have come and gone, what’s new that Rules Ranjann would dish out on the platter?

It is for the first time, I shared screen space with actors like Vennela Kishore and Hyper Aadhi. All my earlier films were all subject-driven and had less scope for comedy. This story of Rules Ranjann has situational comedy where you unknowingly fall in love with characters that keep chipping in at regular intervals. Comedy is more injected into the drama.

Tell us more about your character in the film.

Basically, Mano Ranjan is an innocent chap. I was a little soft in ‘Raja Varu Rani Garu’. You must have come across a few children who are nursed so carefully and affectionately, nursed within the precincts of his house. All comforts are at their disposal. So Mano Ranjan is someone who had that kind of upbringing. He doesn’t know how to react if someone blames him. 

When he faces certain situations, he places rules on the people who restrict him. That’s the most entertaining part in the film. When everything goes smoothly, a girl enters into his life. How does Mano Ranjan turn into Rules Ranjann? How entertaining his life is going to be further is the story.

You were a software engineer earlier before coming to the film industry. How relatable is this character to your real life?

Yes, quite relatable. I worked as a software engineer. While shooting the film, I recalled the days back in the past as a software engineer. The working days in Chennai. I wouldn’t know the language there. Hailing from a rural village, I was not even aware of how a cafeteria would be. It was difficult for me to adapt to that work culture, office etiquette, etc. All those have been incorporated into the film.

What made you accept the film when Rathinam Krishna narrated the story to you?

It was during 2021, I happened to meet Rathinam Krishna. I believe the story has the potential to become a good visual-comedy drama. It’s a fun riot all the while. Vennela Kishore plays the casting director in Bollywood. He would bring a girl every day to the room and face the music every time he encountered me. These situations evoke laughter throughout. Even the tracks of actors Viva Harsha and Subbaraju.

After the back-to-back superhit movies like “Minnal Murali,” “Thallumala,” and “2018,” actor Tovino Thomas is on a busy schedule with the shoot for his next movie titled “Nadikar Thilakam.” His yet another project, “Ajayante Randam Moshanam,” is also getting ready to hit the screens soon. “Nadikar Thilakam” is directed by Lal Jr and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Allan Antony, and Anoop Venugopal under the banners Mythri Movie Makers and Godspeed. It will be the first Malayalam movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who have produced movies like “Pushpa,” “Rangasthalam,” “Sarkaru Vaari Paata,” “Janatha Garage,” and “Srimanthudu,” among others. The first schedule of the movie recently concluded in Kochi, and now the schedule is in full swing in Hyderabad. “Nadikar Thilakam” will be shot in Ramoji Film City, Golconda Fort, and Banjara Hills. Thereafter, the shoot will resume in Kochi, followed by locations in Dubai and Kashmir.

“Nadikar Thilakam” is made under an enormous budget of around 40 Crores and will have a shoot of 120 days in different locations. Tovino Thomas portrays the role of Superstar David Padikkal in this movie, who is coping with a myriad of crises, both personal and professional, in his film career. Soubin Shahir will portray an important role as Bala in this movie, while Bhavana will be in the leading female role. Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Aju Varghese, Sreenath Bhasi, Lal, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, Indrans, Madhupal, Ganapathy, Manikuttan, Sreejith Ravi, Sanju Sivaram, Arjun, Divya Pilla, Khaled Rahman, Pramod Veliyanad, Idavala Babu, Baijukuttan, Shaun Xavier, Rajith (Bigg Boss fame), Bipin Chandran, Mala Parvathy, Devika Gopal Nair, Aaradhya, Akhil Kannapan, Khayas Muhammad, and Jazeer Muhammad are also playing key roles.
