‘Krishna Ghattam’ team highlights the Nithya Sathyam represented by Sri Krishna

‘Krishna Ghattam’ is an upcoming social drama that promises to be novel and soul-stirring. This fusion drama, which is based on real-life events, has already won the Moody Crab Film Festival’s Best Feature Film Award, thereby cementing its place in cinematic history. The Sindhudurg Film Festival’s Semi-Finalist status is another feather in its crown. Written and directed by Suresh Palla, the film is coming from Wild Virtue Creations. The movie’s trailer was recently released in the presence of actor Vishwak Sen.

On Thursday, marking the auspicious Krishnashtami, the creators unveiled a profound and spiritual verse named Nithya Sathyam, which encapsulates the eternal truth represented by Lord Krishna. Sung by Partha Sarathy, the lyrics have been penned by Ramana Babu. Composed by PR, the song is soul-stirring.

Speaking on the occasion, writer-director Suresh Palla said that the song, which is in chaste Telugu, is like a celebration for the devotees of Krishna. “We have got it released at the hands of Gummadi Gopalakrishna garu, who has donned the role of Krishna in stage shows for 30 years. We hope everyone is going to love it. The essence of Krishna’s promise to His devotees has been brought out by the song,” he added.

‘Krishna Ghattam’ boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Chaitanya Krishna, Maya Nelluri, Sasha Singh, Duvvasi Mohan, Vinay Nallakadi, and Dr. Venkat Govada.

*We Sincerely Wish ‘#AP 31’ To Become A Big Hit – Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Bekkem Venugopal at the first look and motion poster launch event* 

The movie ‘#AP 31’ is being made under the banner of Annapurneswari Cine Creations with Chantii and Lahari Shari playing the lead roles. ‘No. Missing’ is the tagline. KVR is directing the movie, while Narayana Swamy M is producing it. Saleem Malik (Mac) provided the additional screenplay. Blockbuster maker Trinadha Rao Nakkina released the motion poster of the movie during a press meet held in Hyderabad on Sunday. Popular producer Bekkem Venugopal unveiled the first look of the movie. The film’s unit including hero Chantii, heroine Lahari and director KVR participated in the event.

 *While speaking on this occasion, Trinadha Rao Nakkina said* , “Mine and Bekkem Venugopal’s career started with a small film. At that time, we used to wait to see who would release the poster, teaser, and trailer of our film. We should not forget our basics, though we are doing big films now. That’s why we always come forward to support and anchor if someone asks us for support. But now people are not considering whether it’s a big or a small movie. They always encourage good cinema and the success of Baby is the best example in recent times. When it comes to ‘#AP 31’, it is a Vizag vehicle. This movie will release in Telugu and Tamil, which means that this vehicle which started in Andhra has to go to Tamil Nadu. I want the film to be a big hit. I visited the film sets two to three times. Producer Narayana Swamy garu does not compromise at all in the making. It is evident through the motion poster that director KVR is making the movie skillfully. Hero Chantii worked very hard for the film. Lahari also looks glamorous. I sincerely wish the film a good success.”

Starring Chantii, Lahari, Vinod Kumar, Tulasi, Jayasudha, Sayaji Shinde, Babu Mohan, Prithviraj, Pakeeja, and Swarnalatha, the film has music by Prajwal Krish, cinematography by Gopala Krishna, dialogues and lyrics by Bhashyasree and additional screenplay by Saleem Malik. Also, Kanal Kannan and Joshua, who worked as stunt masters for many successful films, designed the action scenes for this film. Santosh Soban starrer’s latest film ‘Prem Kumar’ costarring Raasi Singh and Ruvhitha Sadineni is all set to hit the screens. Shiva Prasad Panneeru produced this film under the Sharanga Entertainment Pvt Ltd banner. Writer Abhishek Maharshi is making his debut as a director. The film which is blended with love and entertaining elements is releasing in theaters on 18th August. On this occasion, Hero Santosh Soban interacted with the media. Here is the transcript of his media interaction with ‘Prem Kumar’…

What is the story of ‘Prem Kumar’?

• For so many years, the climax in our Telugu films happened to be a marriage scene where the hero finally convinces the heroine’s father with eye-opening dialogues and leaves with the heroine. One person was always left behind, the bridegroom who was supposed to marry that heroine. No one knows about his situation. How much he prepared for that marriage, how does he feel after investing so much in that marriage financially and emotionally… No one thinks about him. ‘Prem Kumar’ is his story made by director Abhishek. In the course of 100 years of Indian cinema, we have seen so many characters, stories. It is a new kind of experience to portray a character which is never been explored and do a story that has never been told before. For instance, the point we discussed in Ek Mini Katha is very new to Telugu cinema. Likewise, the story of a leftover bridegroom is never told before. Even he has certain emotions. Director Abhishek has written that perfectly that too in an entertaining way.

Is there any inspiration behind ‘Prem Kumar?

• I don’t know what is the actual inspiration behind the story of ‘Prem Kumar’. But, director Abhishek told me that he knows some people who faced such situations in their life. The idea behind selecting ‘Prem Kumar’ as the title is that Bollywood films made under Rajashree Productions Sooraj Barjatya are known for revolving around marriages. The lead actor’s name in those films is always ‘Prem’. The guy named Prem Kumar is over-smart. But, it doesn’t help him. Unlucky fellow. Nothing favors him. Finally, after taking so many risks, he gets married.

How did you recognize Director in Abhishek?

• Abhishek acted in some films. He wrote ‘Prem Kumar’ after he decided to turn into a director. As a director, he believed me. I didn’t okay with this project because the character suits me. I liked it the moment I listened to it. I love comedy and I liked the way how Abhishek wrote it. His dialogues are very close to reality.

You have been doing films with marriage as the main theme. What about your marriage and the pressure you are facing from your family?

• No, they don’t have the thought yet. They only ask about my next film. I am getting depression seeing marriage costumes. I feel like I am not interested in getting married as a grand affair. I want to get married by register marriage simply.

How do you feel about not scoring a theatrical success yet?

• I have worked with many good directors in my career so far. I enjoyed working with them. When I question whether I chose the right scripts so far, I get No as an answer. But, I am happy working with Nandini Garu, Gandhi Garu, and Maruthi Garu. I believe ‘Prem Kumar’ will get me that success. My body language and dialogue will be very new in this film. Abhishek, Shiva, and I are friends, even before starting this film. I hope this film will entertain the audience like how Jandhyala Garu, Vamsi Garu, and EVV Gari films did.

• I will do a film in UV creations banner. Another project will be in Sithara Entertainments banner. Details about these projects will be announced soon.

Director Ajay Bhupathi heralded a new trend with the successful Telugu movie ‘RX 100’ in 2018. ‘Mangalavaaram’ is the title of his upcoming movie. Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M of Mudhra Media Works and  A Creative Works are jointly producing it. Starring Payal Rajput in a prominent role, the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Today, a Jathara-themed song that can be described as the echo of the deity, has been released. Titled ‘Ganagana Mogalira’, the song is set to tune by B Ajaneesh Loknath, who composed music for the pan-Indian blockbuster ‘Kantara’. Prominent lyricist Bhaskarabhatla’s lines are story-driven in nature. VM Mahalingam has composed the song.

“Amma Danguru Danguru Danguruma… Amma Ammoru Danguru Danguruma.. Haarathanduko… Mammu Anduko… Poojalanduko,” the initial lines go.

The subsequent lines hint that the village is in the grip of an evil force. The devout people are helpless and pray to the Goddess to salvage them.

In the past, the film’s glimpse video showed that the villagers are terrified at the sight of their foe. Is it a beast? Is it a human?

Producers Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M said that the song comes at a crucial juncture in the story. They add that director Ajay Bhupathi has made a plot-driven content film with commercial elements. “The Post-production works are commencing on full swing. We will announce the release date soon,” the producers said.

Director Ajay Bhupathi is confident that Ajaneesh Loknath’s tune for the song is so fantastic that it will be played in festive congregations for years to come. “The song also conveys the conflict plot in the story. This is a village-based action thriller never-seen-before. The Telugu nativity is strong,” the director added.

Special song released in an innovative way at Tagespo Bar

‘Prema Deshapu Yuvarani’, a rom-com starring Yamin Raaz, Viraat Karthik and Priyanka Rewri, is written and directed by Sai Suneel Nimmala. Produced by Anand Vemuri and Hariprasad Ch, the film is coming from AGE Creations and S2H2 Entertainments.

A special song titled ‘Masakathadi’ from the film was released today at Tagespo Bar in Manikonda, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, hero Yamin said that it felt good to release the song in the open bar in the presence of audiences. He added that the response to the song is quite encouraging. “It is routine to do such a ceremony in the presence of celebrities. For a change, our director felt that the song must be released amid audience members,” Yamin added.

Director Sai Suneel said that ‘Prema Deshapu Yuvarani’ is an emotional love story. He added that it is nothing wrong to release a song in a bar if it aids in the movie gaining publicity. “We are all new and have made a sincere effort. We hope the audience will appreciate it,” he added.
