Now, actress Rashmika Mandanna has found herself at the center of similar discussions. Recent reports suggest that the “National Crush” is being paid a staggering ₹15 crore for her upcoming Hindi film Cocktail 2, placing her among the highest-paid actresses in the country.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, and reports claim that he is receiving around ₹35 crore as remuneration. Rashmika, who plays one of the female leads, and Kriti Sanon, who is also part of the project, are reportedly being paid ₹15 crore each. If true, it would mean that the leading actresses are earning nearly half of what the film’s hero is taking home a significant shift in the industry’s pay dynamics.

Much of this rise is being attributed to the phenomenal success of Animal, which significantly boosted Rashmika’s popularity across the country. Following the film’s success, her brand value has grown substantially, making her one of the most sought-after actresses for big-budget Hindi projects.
While there has been no official confirmation regarding the reported ₹15 crore paycheck, the discussion itself reflects Rashmika’s growing stature in the Indian film industry.
