A tragic incident in Philadelphia, one of the major cities in the US state of Pennsylvania, has claimed the life of a young Telugu man. Kuncha Anshul, 28, was fatally shot while working as a food delivery driver during a late-night delivery.
According to local reports, Anshul was assigned a food order shortly after midnight and arrived at an address in North Philadelphia around 12:00 AM. Investigators later discovered that the location was a vacant property, raising suspicions about the circumstances surrounding the order.
Police found Anshul outside the building with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities also recovered unopened pizza boxes and his delivery bag inside the property, indicating that he had just completed the delivery before the attack.
Surveillance footage from the area reportedly showed two unidentified individuals following Anshul as he carried the food to the location. Investigators believe the suspects may have been involved in the crime and are examining the footage as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police are currently tracing the phone number used to place the food order and reviewing all available evidence. No arrests have been made so far.
