Senior actor Vadde Naveen’s latest investigative drama, Transfer Trimurthulu, has officially made its OTT debut. The film, which hit theatres in June, is now available for streaming on ZEE5, offering movie lovers another chance to experience the crime thriller from the comfort of their homes.
Directed by debutant Kamal Teja Narla, Transfer Trimurthulu centers on Trimurthulu, an honest and dedicated police constable whose life takes a dramatic turn after he stumbles upon a massive political conspiracy. As he digs deeper into the truth, he finds himself confronting influential figures and battling corruption within the system, leading to a tense investigative drama.
The film features an ensemble cast including Rashi Singh, Shilpa Tulaskar, Vivek Raghuvanshi, Raghu Babu, and several other supporting actors. Interestingly, the project was produced by Vadde Naveen under his own production banner.
Despite its promising premise, Transfer Trimurthulu failed to create an impact during its theatrical release and received a lukewarm response at the box office. However, many films have found a second lease of life after their OTT premieres, and the makers will be hoping for a similar turnaround.
Now that the film is streaming on ZEE5, it remains to be seen whether digital audiences embrace the investigative thriller and give it the recognition it couldn’t achieve on the big screen.
