Following the massive success of Karuppu, Tamil star Suriya is all set to return with another promising entertainer, Vishwanath & Sons. Directed by Lucky Baskhar fame Venky Atluri, the film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead and is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 14. Ahead of its release, the makers have unveiled the much-awaited trailer, which has struck the right emotional chord.
The trailer introduces Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, a professional pistol shooter leading a happy family life. However, things take an emotional turn when his newborn son is diagnosed with a serious bone marrow disorder. As the family desperately searches for a suitable donor, they meet Mamitha Baiju’s character, setting the stage for an unexpected and emotionally engaging journey.
Mamitha’s lively screen presence adds freshness and energy to the narrative, while her growing bond with Suriya’s character creates an intriguing dynamic. The noticeable age gap between the two becomes one of the key emotional conflicts, adding depth to the story rather than following a conventional romantic route.
