After enjoying a dream run with three consecutive Rs. 100 crore grossers, Pradeep Ranganathan experienced his first major setback with LIK, Love Insurance Kompany. However, the young filmmaker-turned-actor is wasting no time in bouncing back and has now embarked on an exciting new journey.
Pradeep has officially launched his own production banner, PR Show, marking another milestone in his rapidly growing career. Already known for wearing multiple hats as an actor, writer, director, lyricist, and producer, he is now backing an ambitious new project under his home banner.
The yet-to-be-titled film features Mamitha Baiju, who won hearts with Premalu and recently impressed audiences in Dude, alongside director-turned-actor Ashwath Marimuthu in the lead roles. The project also introduces newcomer Anamika Mahi to the big screen, while Telugu actor Sivaji Sontineni and versatile actress Swasika will be seen in pivotal roles.
Six Directors Join Hands for a Unique Experiment
What makes this project stand out is its unconventional directorial team. Instead of a single filmmaker, the movie will be helmed by The Alpha Unit, a six-member filmmaking collective comprising Vishal TR, Yash V, Naren Saoda, Chanakkiyan R, Dhanush Kumar, and Ilamparithi.
Pradeep Ranganathan has penned the story, while rising music sensation Sai Abhyankkar has been brought on board to compose the soundtrack. The technical team also includes editor Pradeep E. Ragav and cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman, promising a strong creative lineup behind the camera.
